The Supply Chain Analyst utilizes raw data and business systems to provide methods and tools that enable various functions of the company to clearly understand key business metrics and the levers available to drive positive change in the company's objectives.
This position has a focus on data related to purchasing, inventory, historical demand, sales forecasts, production outputs, scrap and reject rates.
The Supply Chain Analyst also works to integrate data and processes between various systems including the ERP, MES, CRM, as well as ad hoc office system tools.
To that end, this position interfaces with the IT department with the overall goal to bridge the gap between raw data & available systems to value-added information seamlessly integrated within the business process.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business data mining, analysis, and reporting Daily output and maintenance of business reports in addition to development of new reports Providing critical data analysis of business metrics that both look back on historical trends, but also help to predict future outcomes Creating and maintaining business models that accurately reflect sales, inventory, and production flows over future time periods Maintaining system tools within the scope of the position Education and
Experience:
The successful candidate will have earned a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a business-related degree.
Alternative degrees will be considered along with appropriate job experience.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant job experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
No direct industry experience is required, but the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the basic analytical skills as summarized in this profile.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced organizational skills dealing with complex data relationships and understanding the impact of that data on business processes.
Results-oriented task planning according to changing priorities and strict deadlines Clear & concise communication skills, especially in dealing with internal stakeholders.
Conflict resolution skills directed toward long-term value creation and not just short-term gains.
