Summary:
This position is skilled-manufacturing role that must adhere to quality standards and maintain cGMP training and training to applicable standard operating procedures.
The primary function of this role is to support compounding operations including cleaning, equipment set-up, and compounding.
Provide the necessary labor required to produce our finished products.
Responsibilities:
Supports manufacturing operations including compounding, cleaning, and equipment set-up.
Responsible for blending nutritional and supplemental powdered products according to formulas.
Follows company SOP, CGMP and HACCP.
Verify raw materials measurements/weights for accuracy according to Batch Record and all company SOPs.
Measure and mix raw materials into finished product according to batch card instructions and standard operating procedures with extreme attention to detail.
Record and document all data and sign off on batch cards in accordance with CGMP's.
Performs basic maintenance on compounding equipment as needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
Have proven ability to operate forklifts, skyjacks, and pass required refresher training.
Always maintain a safe and clean working environment as directed and in accordance with approved SOPs and CGMP's.
Train on assigned operator tasks, maintain CGMP and SOP training, as well as other assigned training or cross training as assigned.
Execute job duties to the highest level of quality, accuracy, and customer service.
Maintain punctuality and attendance to support the manufacturing schedule with at times can vary based on business need Perform all other tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
6 months to 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably a USDA or FDA regulated facility Specialized knowledge/training:
Pre-weighing and compounding experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred / Experience working in a USDA or FDA regulated environment preferred.
Other skills:
Understand and follow written instructions, perform basic mathematical calculations, actively maintain a high level of personal and team safety, expected to be flexible to constant change in a fast-paced environment, frequently stand, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally bend, sit, squat, crawl, walk, and reach above shoulder level.
Lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to safely team-lift heavier objects and operate lifting equipment.
Must be able to understand and speak English.
Read and comprehend, write, perform basic mathematic calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.
Must be able to operate a forklift and pass internal certification.
