Summary of the role We are a customer focused team. You will work as custodian of UI/UX and develop web standards as a member for Wiley courseware ecosystem to seamlessly integrate or migrate current systems and tools to their target systems. Identify gaps in system functionality and come up with documentation or tooling to identify or mitigate those gap risks Our team is responsible delivering compelling, delightful, and effective UI/UX strategies and lead the web development in collaboration with product managers, and web producers. You will bring your wide range of experience with n-tier architecture, device agnostic, responsive web apps, and a track record of designing and developing customer facing web applications. You will have an opportunity to improve reliability, testability and scalability of the existing application You will work directly with QA Engineers to ensure system quality, functionality, and performance You will be part of modern front-end Web architecture, MVC/ MVVM framework, Restful API, JavaScript libraries, React, node.js, Material-UI, CSS3, HTML5 We are looking for people who have:
Looking for energized person who has development experience in Java with the exposure in front-end technologies JavaScript, ReactJS, require.js, jQuery, CSS/CSS3, SASS, LESS, HTML/HTML5 Great attitude to dive into an existing code base and gain a decent understanding of the working systems to modernize legacy systems. We are using different monitoring tools recommended by best practice in the industry Test Driven Development, unit and functional testing with various JavaScript testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, and Karma. Good team player who is willing to write technical and non-technical documentation with knowledge in Microservice Architectures Bring your knowledge in Object-Oriented design and development skills using version control, such as Git, GitHub. We are using software development methodologies including Agile (SCRUM), continuous integration/ continuous development and automation. You will contribute in designing, architecting and developing customer facing online platforms. Passionate individual who has an ability to automate almost everything.
